Allison Yelvington graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems from Appalachian State University. She also completed the Collegiate Geographic Information Systems Certificate. Allison’s research interests include human geography, city planning, GIS-focused conservation efforts and, more broadly, applications of geospatial technologies in the environmental sciences. She is experienced in GIS-based analysis, cartographic design, and web mapping.
