Faith graduated with dual Bachelors of Science in Molecular & Cellular Biology, and Statistics & Data Science from the University of Arizona in Spring 2022. While working toward her undergraduate degrees, Faith joined Dr. Megha Padi to develop targeted treatments for Merkel cell carcinoma by applying a variety of bioinformatic tools to identify transcriptomic changes in cell samples. Faith commenced her doctoral studies in the Biomathematics program at North Carolina State University in Fall 2022. She is currently working in the Machado Lab using computational modeling to develop strategies for combating porcine viruses. These ventures involve ordinary differential equations, probabilities, statistics, phylogenetics, and analysis of network dynamics.
