The RABapp staff work with companies and producers to develop, review and approve a written component of the enhanced biosecurity plans. This comprises a list of all 169 biosecurity fields that are depicted visually in the maps generated by the app.

To do this, RABapp staff provide farms and producers with a data collection form to capture relevant biosecurity information. Staff can also extract information from SPS plans if farms and producers have already completed them.

This process ensures that the RABapp includes sufficient and accurate information from all farms. This process also adheres to the documentation published by the SPS Secure Pork Supply plan. For more information visit the SPS webpage.
